Monitoring Land Subsidence and Coastal Erosion in the Nile Delta of Egypt

Land Subsidence in Cairo, Egypt The Permanent Scatterer Interferometric (PSI) technique was applied to detect and measure, in millimeter-level accuracy, land subsidence in Greater Cairo, Egypt. The slides show Line-Of-Sight (LOS) surface displacements in Cairo during 1993-2000. InSAR measurements from 1993 to 2000 are referenced to July 1, 1993. More details will be posted later.
